This Privacy Policy explains how RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC (“RuizBuilt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ruizbuiltllc.com (the “Site”), contact us for an estimate, or message us on WhatsApp. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out the estimate form, call, text, email, or message us on WhatsApp, we may collect:

• Your name;
• Your phone number and/or email address;
• Your property address or general location (to scope and schedule work);
• Details about your project, including photos, videos, measurements, and plans you choose to send;
• Any other information you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site’s hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used for security and to understand general Site usage.

We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account details through this Site. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers or government ID numbers through this Site.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare a free estimate;
• To schedule site visits and perform the remodeling work you hire us for;
• To communicate with you about your project, appointments, and follow-up;

We process your information to take steps at your request before entering a contract (preparing an estimate), to perform a contract (doing the work), for our legitimate business interests (running and improving a small remodeling company), with your consent (marketing messages), and to comply with legal obligations.

5. WhatsApp, calls & text messages

WhatsApp is our preferred way to communicate. When you message us on WhatsApp, your message and any photos you send are delivered through WhatsApp’s platform and are also subject to WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy. We use the phone number you contact us from to reply and to follow up about your project. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can ask us to stop messaging you at any time.

6. Cookies & analytics

This Site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, if enabled, a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work. If we add analytics such as Google Analytics in the future, we will update this section and, where required, ask for your consent first.

7. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and estimate information for up to 24 months if the project does not move forward. For completed projects, we keep contracts, invoices, and project records for at least 4 years, or longer where tax, warranty, or legal requirements apply. Project photos used for marketing may be kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it and using reputable service providers. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account numbers through the Site or by text.

9. Your choices & rights

You can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law;
• Opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying “STOP” or telling us;
